1Z2Z2-K solar cables are intended for freely movable and freely hanging use, for fixed installation in photovoltaic power generation systems. They are suitable for use in and on protectively insulated devices and systems (protection class II), as well as in potentially explosive areas. They can be used indoors, outdoors, in industry and in commercial and agricultural operations. Laying in cable trays, in pipes, on and under plaster is permitted. H1Z2Z2-K cables are suitable for underground laying. The cables are designed for operation with a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C, however a maximum conductor temperature of 120°C is permitted at a maximum ambient temperature of 90°C for a maximum duration of 20,000 hours.
